Betsy Blake is an architectural visualiser from Manchester, England. From a young age it was clear she had a passion for art, which resulted in her achieving a first class honours in Computer Animation and Visual Effects at Leeds Beckett University. It was during this time that Betsy developed her interest and enthusiasm for architectural visualisation.

 

Betsy is currently working in Lymington for a small yacht design company, where she is a 3D Visualiser, demonstrating skilful use of 3DS Max, Photoshop and V-Ray. Betsy works alongside interior designers using CAD drawings to create visuals which are used to give clients a realistic representation of the proposed design.

 

Whilst studying, Betsy worked with children in America, which has broadened her life skills and enhanced her ability to work within a team and communicate effectively. She also took the opportunity to expand her knowledge of the visualisation industry by completing a month long internship in New York where she worked on various projects, including visualising office spaces and producing models suitable for 3D printing.
